Evergy’s plan uses PISA for the benefit of Missouri stakeholders
Kansas City, MO – March 25, 2024 – Evergy will host a public stakeholder meeting to review its annual and five-year capital expenditure plan on Thursday, March 28 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held virtually and is open to stakeholders in Evergy’s Missouri Metro and Missouri West service areas. Instructions for joining the meeting are below.
Evergy representatives will provide a brief presentation about planned generation transition and grid modernization expenditures, including examples of specific projects that improve grid reliability and resiliency. The company’s plan complies with Missouri’s Plant in Service Accounting (PISA) legislation, which encourages utility investment in infrastructure while managing the impact on customers’ energy prices. There will be a Q&A session at the conclusion of the presentation.
