Kansas City, Mo. – October, 20, 2026 – As we approach Veterans Day, Evergy will host a career expo dedicated to local veterans, exiting service members and military spouses.

Evergy's Mission Transition expo will be 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday, November 6 at Evergy’s Cedar Point Training Facility, 10056 Raytown Road in Kansas City, MO.

Mission Transition will help attendees explore Evergy careers, meet hiring managers and make community connections.

This event is FREE to attend and attendees can drop in throughout the event but space is limited. Register for Mission Transition by November 2 to secure your spot.

This is the second Mission Transition career expo. Evergy values the experience and assets that veterans, service members and their spouses bring to the workforce. Evergy employs more than twice the national average of veterans: veterans comprise 5% of the national workforce compared to 11% of Evergy’s workforce.
